Six programs. One mission. Real coordination behind every one.
Each UIAN program has a defined scope, partner network and donor-facing report. Programs grow as funding allows. Nothing here is theoretical — these are categories of cases real families bring to us.

Immigration Relief Program
Coordinating immigrants and mixed-status families with licensed attorneys and accredited representatives. Cases include asylum, TPS, U-visa, T-visa, VAWA self-petitions, family-based petitions and adjustment of status.
UIAN does not provide direct legal advice. We do intake, prepare case files, refer to verified legal partners and stay in coordination across the case.
Document review, case file prep, attorney match, case follow-up.
Licensed immigration attorneys, accredited representatives, BIA-recognized organizations.
Cases properly filed, families with current legal representation.
Detention response, family separation, domestic violence, sudden housing loss.
Domestic violence shelters, legal aid, faith communities, emergency housing.
Families with safety plan in place and at least one trusted contact for emergencies.
Family Protection & Emergency Support
Crisis response when something has already gone wrong — a family member detained, a sudden separation, domestic violence, an emergency housing situation. We do not handle these alone; we coordinate the right specialists fast.
Every case includes a safety plan, a trusted contact list and a follow-up schedule.
Refugee & Humanitarian Aid
The first 90 days after arrival are the most fragile. UIAN supports refugees, asylees and humanitarian parolees with temporary housing referrals, ID and document help, school enrollment, basic health navigation and adult ESL.
First-90-days kit, school enrollment, health navigation, ESL referrals.
Resettlement agencies, schools, federally qualified health centers, ESL providers.
Families landing into stable housing, school and health pathways within 90 days.
Pregnancy support, single mothers, school transitions, youth mentorship, abuse survivors.
Women’s health clinics, schools, mentors, trauma-aware mental health.
Stable health, stable schooling, presence of trusted adults.
Women & Children Support
A focused track for the most vulnerable members of immigrant communities. UIAN connects women and children to providers who understand language, culture and trauma — especially for survivors of domestic violence and trafficking.
Career & Business Integration
Helping immigrants enter the U.S. labor market and start small businesses. Includes credential evaluation, employer partnerships, basic financial coaching and an introduction to small business support organizations.
Credential evaluation, employer matching, financial literacy, microbusiness referrals.
Employer partners, credential evaluation services, SBDC and microbusiness orgs.
Stable legal employment or active small business after 6 months.
Tutoring, school advocacy, college prep, scholarships, leadership programs.
Schools, tutoring providers, college access organizations, mentors.
Youth completing high school, entering higher education or workforce on stable ground.
Future Generation Program
The longest-horizon UIAN program, focused on children of immigrant families. Tutoring, school advocacy, college prep, scholarships and leadership opportunities. We invest in the people who will define the next chapter of these communities.
Donors and partners can sponsor a specific program.
Each program has a budget, a coordinator and a reporting cycle. Restricted gifts to a specific program are welcome and tracked separately.
