Tell us what is happening. We will listen first, advise next.
UIAN works with immigrants and mixed-status families in the United States. We do not require status documents to start the conversation. Everything you share is confidential and reviewed by a coordinator before any next step.
What we cover
- Documents & immigration. Asylum, TPS, U-visa, VAWA, family petitions, AOS.
- Family protection. Detention response, separation, domestic violence support.
- Refugee & humanitarian. First-90-days landing support.
- Women & children. Pregnancy, single mothers, school transitions, youth mentorship.
- Career & income. Credential evaluation, employer partners, financial coaching.
- Education. School enrollment, ESL, college prep, scholarships.
How this works
What happens after you send the form.
- 1We review the request. A coordinator reads it within a few business days and decides whether UIAN is the right place or another organization will help faster.
- 2We schedule a conversation. 30 to 45 minutes by phone, video or in person. We listen first and explain what is realistic.
- 3We match the family to specialists. Licensed attorneys, accredited representatives, clinics, schools or employers — depending on the situation.
- 4We stay in contact. We check in after the urgent step is resolved. Stability is the goal, not closing a ticket.
If this is a true emergency
If someone is in immediate danger or detained right now, please call 911 first. Then send us a message — we will help with the next steps.
