What happens at launch

How giving will work, step by step.

Donations are not open yet. When UIAN's registration and payment setup are complete, this is exactly how a gift will work. No surprises.

1Choose one-time or monthly, and an amount. Monthly support is the backbone of the foundation, but every gift counts.
2Pay securely. Payments will run through an established provider with bank-level security. UIAN never stores your card details.
3Get an instant receipt. You receive an emailed receipt right away, with the exact tax treatment shown once UIAN's status is confirmed.
4See where it went. Donors get plain-language updates tied to the programs their gift supports, not vague thank-yous.

For now, the form above only joins the launch waitlist. It takes no payment and creates no donation.

Are donations to UIAN tax-deductible?

Tax-deductibility depends on UIAN’s confirmed legal and IRS status. Donor receipts and the exact tax treatment will be communicated once that status is fully confirmed and published on the Transparency page.

How can I make a recurring monthly donation?

Once donations open you will choose “Monthly” in the donation form and pick an amount. The recurring billing will be handled by a payment provider with industry-standard security, and you will be able to change or cancel a recurring donation at any time through the link in your receipt email or by contacting the team.

Do you accept stock gifts, donor-advised funds or planned giving?

These options can be supported after UIAN confirms the required legal, banking and payment details. Please contact the team first so the correct process can be arranged.

Can my employer match my donation?

Many U.S. employers match nonprofit donations after the organization’s eligibility is confirmed. UIAN can provide the required documentation once legal and payment details are finalized.

What is your refund policy?

Once donations open, if a gift is made by mistake or for an incorrect amount, you will be able to contact the team within 30 days and we will work with you on a refund or correction. Recurring donations will be cancellable at any time.
